New Oncology Clinic at OSF St. Francis Hospital, Escanaba

Investment made to inspire a healing environment planning to open in March

With a firm understanding that where patients receive their medical treatment is as important as who provides that care, OSF St. Francis Hospital and Medical Group, Escanaba, is ready to open a newly remodeled oncology clinic.

OSF St. Francis’ long-standing relationship with Green Bay Oncology and the combined dedication to the community and its cancer patients, prompted the decision to make this investment.

“We are proud to be there to serve our patients and want to give them the best opportunity we can to help them heal,” says Kelly Jefferson, Vice President of Operations, OSF St. Francis.

The clinic, which includes nine infusion beds, now has more comfortable furnishings with more space between beds, as well as privacy curtains. In addition, each bed is equipped with a Smart TV providing multiple entertainment options and web access. A large wall of windows opens up the space with natural light.

Jefferson says patients have been supportive and excited about the upgrade. “Our phenomenal staff is also looking forward to continuing their high level of service to patients in a better environment.”

The five month project cost $800,000. Patients are scheduled to be in the new clinic in early March.
