Mike Allen, MHA, CPA, FHFMA

Mike Allen  joined OSF HealthCare as its Chief Financial Officer in September of 2015.  He previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Gundersen Health System based in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  Mike has 30+ years of experience in business and the healthcare industry. 

Mike has served on industry boards and committees and has been a volunteer leader for many community organizations over the duration of his career, including for the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) for over 20 years. He servined on the HFMA national board of directcors and was the Chair of the association from 2019-2021.  Mike holds a BS degree in accounting from Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois; an MHA from the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, Minnesota, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
