Schepers has been interim president since February 2026, when Zach Yoder departed to lead three other hospitals in the OSF Western Region.</span><br><br><span>As president, Schepers will oversee all operations at OSF Saint Anthony’s, with a focus on strengthening hospital performance, elevating patient experience and ensuring delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care to the communities OSF serves.</span><br><br><span>“I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue to lead this pillar of the Riverbend community,” Schepers said. “We have made great progress in recent years in delivering safe, quality care, highlighted by our recent fifth straight hospital safety A grade from the Leapfrog Group. But, we are always striving to improve, and I’m looking forward to leading those efforts.”</span><br><br><span>Schepers earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Deaconess College of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri. She went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Webster University and most recently achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University.</span></p><p><span>Prior to serving as interim president at OSF Saint Anthony’s, Schepers was the hospital’s chief nursing officer. He will begin serving as president effective April 1, 2025.&nbsp;</p><p>Grabowski will lead OSF Saint Anthony in aligning with the overall strategy of OSF HealthCare. He will be responsible for directing all internal operations while continuing to ensure that high quality and cost-effective health care is delivered to patients.</p><p>“I am very excited to have Alec join our team,” says AJ Querciagrossa, CEO, Western Region, OSF HealthCare. “His impressive operations background and his down-to-earth personality have served him well in all the areas he has led previously. His servant-first approach will position him well in his new role. I am looking forward to him getting started and engaging our physicians, leaders, Mission Partners, and others within our communities.”</p><p>Grabowski has 15 years of health care career experience. She will be responsible for directing all internal operations and helping OSF evolve when necessary to ensure that high-quality and cost-effective health care continues to be delivered to the patients we are blessed to serve,” said Carol Friesen, CEO for OSF HealthCare’s Eastern Region.</p><p>Shim will carry forward a culture of collaboration and integration that provides a safe Mission Partner and patient care environment. She will continue to embrace the Catholic health care heritage and support the Sisters’ Mission of serving with the greatest care and love.</p><p>Shim most recently served as president at Adventist Health Care Fort Washington Medical Center in Fort Washington, Maryland.
