Bob Sehring

Bob Sehring joined OSF HealthCare in 2002. He served in a number of leadership roles across the Ministry before being named the CEO in October 2017.

Under Bob’s leadership, OSF HealthCare has grown from an 11 to a 15 hospital health care Ministry and restructured to an integrated regional and service line delivery system for the communities OSF serves. That growth includes extending our reach and services into the metro Chicago market and establishing a digital health operating unit branded OSF OnCall, which delivers seamless navigation to the care and services the patient desires, when, where and how they prefer to receive it. Bob’s tenure also has included the establishment of a robust oncology service line, including the construction of the OSF Cancer Institute in Peoria, Illinois, which is on schedule to see its first patient in early 2024 and will include proton beam therapy, only the second center of its kind in Illinois.

Mr. Sehring earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in public accounting from Hofstra University, Uniondale, NY. Prior to joining OSF, he held various executive positions with Aetna, New York Life, and Metropolitan Life Insurance.
