The OB Unit and Birthing Center at OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center graciously accepts the donation of a Cuddle Cot from the Jack Pack Foundation, a non-profit organization with a goal of providing comfort to bereaved families.

The Cuddle Cot is a cooling system that allows families who lose a baby at birth the ability to spend more time, capture photos and create mementos. It’s important for Moms and families to be able to spend as much time with their baby as possible and the Cuddle Cot allows for that to occur as long as there is the need.

"After we had learned about cuddle cots, and the cooling devices, and the ability for families to have their babies with them longer, we knew we had to give that gift to other families and to other facilities," says Jackie Harwick, of the Jack Pack Foundation.

Jackie and her husband, Garrik, established the foundation following the 2016 death of their son at birth.
