KBSTRONG gives $100,000 to OSF HealthCare Foundation
For the OSF Breakthrough Treatment Center
OSF HealthCare Foundation and KBSTRONG Foundation are collaborating to bring world-class glioblastoma research, programs and services to patients in central Illinois and beyond.
We are pleased to share that the KBSTRONG Foundation has donated $100,000 to the OSF HealthCare Foundation for the OSF Breakthrough Treatment Center and will continue to fundraise to support ongoing glioblastoma research trials.
KBSTRONG - Fighting the Fight was created after the death of beloved Washington Community High School varsity basketball coach, Kevin Brown, who lost his battle with brain cancer in June of 2019.
Coach Brown relentlessly fought to be the exception to the diagnosis of glioblastoma.
Now the foundation established in his name carries on his indefatigable work ethic in raising awareness of the disease, funding research to find a cure, and providing hope for other warriors in this fight.
