OSF HealthCare Welcomes Danville Polyclinic Offices to the Ministry

OSF HealthCare has officially welcomed Danville Polyclinic offices, providers and staff to the OSF HealthCare Ministry. Danville Polyclinic physician offices at 707 N. Logan Avenue in Danville are now part of the OSF HealthCare Ministry, and dozens of Polyclinic providers and staff are new OSF HealthCare Mission Partners. The integration went live Sunday, April 7.

OSF HealthCare held a private blessing and dedication of the building on Thursday, April 4. Nearly 100 people witnessed the ceremony, which is a special OSF HealthCare tradition for any new building or practice to the Ministry.

Patients will continue to see the same providers, but all care will now be aligned with OSF HealthCare, and OSF HealthCare Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville.

“I think it means a lot. It gives us an integrated health care system, where physicians and providers of Danville Polyclinic are now fully aligned with our hospital and OSF HealthCare,” said Dr. Jared Rogers, President, OSF HealthCare Sacred Heart Medical Center. “It also gives us structure within OSF HealthCare here in Danville to which we can recruit physicians and other providers.”

Dr. Venkat Sekar, President of Danville Polyclinic says the decision to become part of OSF HealthCare was made after carefully considering many factors. He says the OSF HealthCare Mission aligns with Danville Polyclinic’s dedication to the community.

“OSF has a commitment to the community. It’s amazing, actually,” said Dr. Sekar. He continued, “I have seen three different hospital administrations, but everybody is happy about OSF. This is amazing.”
