Saving Lives All in a Day's Work for Level I Trauma Team

Collaboration is the key to success for trauma center at OSF Saint Anthony

After being hit by a vehicle while in Rockford on business in August 2014, Gordon Wiseman fought for his life for several days. However, thanks to the physicians, nurses and staff of OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center and its Level I Trauma Team, he pulled through and is enjoying life in Glasgow, Scotland. Mr. Wiseman (center-with some members of his OSF care team) recently returned to OSF Saint Anthony for the first time since his treatment. He credits these medical professionals with saving his life. All part of a day’s work. Mr. Wiseman. Every patient, Every time.

Here is his story.
