OSF HealthCare hosts blessing event for new dental clinic
OSF HealthCare celebrated the opening of its newly relocated OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Dental Clinic with a blessing event at the Peoria County Health & Human Services Building, 2116 Sheridan Road in Peoria. The new location expands access to vital dental care, now offering pediatric services alongside adult care.
Made possible by grants from the Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation and the Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation (ILCHF), the relocation ensures children and families in need receive essential dental care in a convenient, centralized location.
“Providing high-quality, accessible dental care is essential to overall health and well-being,” said Amanda Sutphen, director of community outreach at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. “This new space allows us to serve even more individuals, including children who may not otherwise have access to critical dental services, helping to improve long-term oral health outcomes in our community.”
Attendees toured the renovated clinic, which features updated equipment and expanded patient care areas. The new facility is expected to serve thousands annually, bridging gaps in oral health care across Peoria County.
