OSF HealthCare Names New President of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center

Lynn Fulton has been named president of OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center. She will begin transitioning to her new role on November 5.

Fulton replaces Chad Boore, who now serves at the Chief Executive Officer of OSF HealthCare’s Eastern Region.

In her new role, Fulton will lead OSF St. Joseph Medical Center to align with the overall strategy of OSF HealthCare. She will be responsible for directing all internal operations, while continuing to ensure that high quality and cost-effective health care is delivered to patients. Fulton will carry forward a culture of collaboration and integration that provides a safe patient care environment that also fosters innovation and creativity.

“I am excited to join OSF HealthCare Saint Joseph Medical Center as its President,” said Fulton. “It is my experience that to be a truly great organization and to offer excellence in care, leaders must spend time and attention developing and supporting a culture of caring and empathy. It is evident that the leaders at OSF St. Joseph have done just that. I feel blessed to be joining this team and look forward to the future.”

Fulton has served as the president of OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center since 2014. Prior to that she served as the CEO of Kewanee Hospital and led the transition of Kewanee Hospital to OSF HealthCare. Fulton has worked tirelessly to change the culture of OSF Saint Luke to what it is today.

Fulton received her Bachelor of Business, majoring int Marketing and Channel Logistics Management, from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. She earned her Master of Applied Science in Health Care Administration from the University of St. Francis.

The search for Fulton’s replacement as the president of OSF HealthCare Saint Luke will begin immediately.
